IRELAND

Few places on the planet are as crammed with history as Ireland. Everywhere you look there are castles, houses and monuments, some even older than the Pyramids. In Ireland the past is part of the present, part of the people and part of its vibrant culture. The Irish are extremely proud of their colourful heritage and have maintained much of their language and culture throughout the ages.

Ireland is an island located. It has the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Irish Sea separating it from the United Kingdom to the east. The Atlantic Ocean dictates our climate much of the time, bringing romantic mists rolling across the hills. This rain is what gives Ireland the name "The Emerald Isle" as it causes the whole country to be covered in forty shades of green.

Though most famous for her poets and scholars such as W.B. Yeats and James Joyce Ireland also has her share of successful pop stars and movie actors such as Westlife and U2 who have become Internationally renowned Besides cultural activities and mythical characters, there are also a wide number of activities to enjoy from sporting events to rock concerts to traditional music and dance and many more.

You don't just learn English when you come to Ireland. You learn a complete new way of life and how to appreciate it. We look forward to welcoming you.

KERRY, TRALEE

Tralee is the capital town of Kerry – one of the most famous and beautiful tourist regions of Ireland. There are so many beaches with a few kilometers of Tralee where you can enjoy all the water sports you can handle from diving to paddling. Of course if you just want to lie on a deserted beach and relax, you can do that too. For those who prefer to stay on dry land, then head up the mountains. You can take a quick stroll or you can try your hand at the Dingle Way which will carry you over the mountains from Tralee to Dingle. If you would rather spend your free-time shopping, then Tralee is the spot for you. All the shops are in close proximity to each other and you can find everything you need. There is also the Manor West Shopping Centre for the more serious shoppers! No matter what you are looking for in a pub, Tralee has it; quiet corners, traditional music, cocktails, contemporary bands, karaoke, pub-grub and plenty of local hospitality. For a different night out, you can go to the National Folk Theatre, Siamse Tire, where plays, musicals and concerts are held throughout the year. You couldn’t possibly get bored here!
