Students who need a visa to work and study in Ireland must adhere to specific course requirements. At Celtic School of English, students are required to have 450 study hours over a period of 30 weeks. During this time, students are also required to take an internationally recognized exam e.g. Cambridge First Certificate.
Celtic School of English cannot determine who will or will not be granted a visa, nor do we have any influence on the visa application.
This must include:
Course Commencement Date, Course Completion Date and Arrival Departure date.
- The School will then issue an Invoice and Provisional Acceptance outlining course dates and fees.
- Student should then transfer all fees to School account. On receipt of payment or notice of payment the School issues a Letter of Admission detailing the course and period of stay along with acknowledgement of fees paid.
- Students can then apply to the nearest Irish Embassy or Consulate. The Letter of Admission is necessary to complete the application.
- Visa conditions can vary from country to country so be sure to get a full list of documents required.
- Once the student arrives in Tralee and commences the English course, an attendance sheet must be signed every day and a record of attendance will be kept.
- Students will also have to take an internationally recognized exam such as Cambridge First Certificate exam before course completion.
- Full medical insurance is required. The School can assist in arranging Medical Insurance for students pending Visa approval. Insurance can be arranged at any time at a cost of 150.
VISA REFUSAL/ REFUSAL OF APPEAL
If the intended commencement date of the course is delayed because of Visa problems the student will be given the option of registering for a later course.
The school will make a full refund of all payments with the exception of the deposit of 100, which is non-refundable.
